Later that year, the team was forced to relocate to a larger building, and programmer Steve Capps had the bright idea of flying a \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.folklore.org\/StoryView.py?story=Pirate_Flag.txt\" target=\"_blank\"\u003epirate flag\u003c\/a\u003e above the building in a show of solidarity. While Capps sewed the black cloth for the flag, it was designer Susan Kare who painted the skull and crossbones, finished off with a rainbow Apple logo eyepatch. The original flew over the building for more than a year and has since been lost — but now you have a chance to purchase one of your own.
